Welcome to NAHSL '07! The Conference
will be held at the close of the harvest season in Woodstock,
Vermont, a town whose 6 covered bridges are emblematic of
the connections that brought together farm and industry, land
stewardship and agrarian experimentation, and art and leisure in
one beautiful Vermont community.
Today, the art of building connections or
bridges is essential for medical libraries and librarians. We
connect real people to virtual information spaces and help link
research knowledge to education and patient care. The
Conference program themes focus on issues of social
responsibility; social networking through technology; and
social intelligence as we work in collegial, constituent, and
global communities.
Please join us at the Woodstock Inn on
October 28-30, 2007. Enjoy the Green Mountains in the
company of your NAHSL colleagues.
